This post is for the lighting and scenic designers in the class.
Some food for thought: What steps does the scenic designer take while collecting ideas and inspiration that you could easily mimic for your project? How do the scenic and lighting designer work together? Why is their relationship especially important?

I appreciate how your prompt connects the students' own process to that of the Shrek team. Encouraging them to take some hints away from the post is a great idea.
ReplyDeleteAnd I think Shrek as a show is a good choice. The students will be familiar with the characters (or at least the idea of them). And it has lots of appeal.
